Dr. Venkatesh Garla, MDS, M.Orth (RCS) U.K.
Dr. Garla is an orthodontist, Dentofacial Orthopaedist with 16 years of experience. He was awarded masters in orthodontics in 2006 and M Orth from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, U.K. in 2007.
He is a consultant orthodontist in many corporate hospitals in the city and works as a Professor at The Oxford Dental College, Bangalore.
He is also an author of many peer reviewed articles within the orthodontic literature. He makes most of his higher qualifications and specialist training in orthodontics to provide the expert care that gives his patients healthy straight teeth, beautiful smiles and enhanced self- esteem. He strives to use modern materials which are comfortable, fast in producing results and well-disguised.
Dr. Garla is on the advisory board for Damon Braces from our country, He has a special interest in Invisalign , Damon braces and is one of the main providers of these type of treatments in Bangalore.
Dr. Hetal Popat, MDS, Orthodontics
Dr. Hetal completed her BDS from the reputed DDU Dental College and Hospital, Nadiad and post graduation in Orthodontics from the acclaimed Oxford Dental College, Bangalore.
She is qualified and specialist in orthodontics to provide the expert care that gives her patients healthy straight teeth, beautiful smiles and enhanced self- esteem. She has expertise in doing Invisalign (Braces), Damon braces and lingual braces.
She is certified to perform various procedures such as crown and bridgework, Restorative work and she is also trained to practice root canal treatment (RCT).
She has attended many conferences and presented scientific papers related to orthodontics and she is also an author of reviewed articles within the orthodontic literature.
Dr. Smriti Jha, MDS, Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry
Dr. Smriti completed her BDS from the reputed Govt. Dental College and Hospital, Nagpur and post graduation in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from the acclaimed VS Dental College and Hospital, Bangalore.
She has an expertise in providing comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral health care for infants and children including those with special health care needs.
She has expertise in doing various procedures such as Restorative work using silver amalgam and resin restorations, Stainless steel crowns/Polycarbonate crowns, Pulp therapy in deciduous /permanent teeth including pulpotomies, pulpectomy, RCT and apexification procedures in nonvital teeth, Management of Traumatised anterior teeth including splinting and Esthetic restorations, Minor surgical procedures like extractions, Incision and drainage of dental infection repair of soft tissue lacerations under local /general anaesthesia, Clinical activities including child management using pharmacological/ non-pharmacological techniques, Preventive dental procedures like Oral hygiene instructions/brushing techniques, Diet counseling, oral prophylaxis, topical fluorides, pit and fissure sealants and Preventive resin restorations.
Dr. Smriti has also done certified courses and is trained to practice basic life support and Conscious sedation.
She has many awards and accomplishments to her name some of them being, gold medallist in third BDS in Maharashtra university of Health Sciences, secured 4th position in Second BDS in Maharashtra university of Health Sciences.
She has attended many conferences and presented scientific papers related to pediatric dentistry and was awarded the best paper award in 36th Annual conference of Indian Society Of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Lucknow. Being a methodical and research driven practitioner, she has many publications in national and international journals.
Her hobbies include travelling, exploring new cultures, listening to music, and fitness. She has keen interest in sports especially lawn tennis and athletics.
