Crown and Bridge (Fixed)
A crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is placed over a tooth to cover the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength and improve its appearance.
When is a dental crown needed?
- To protect a weak tooth (For instance, from decay) from breaking or to hold together parts of a cracked tooth
- To restore an already broken tooth
- To make a cosmetic modification
- To cover and support a tooth with a large filling
A Fixed bridge is a set of three or more crowns fused together, where the one in the middle replaces the missing tooth. The crown on the edge covers your own teeth which are used as anchors. A bridge cannot be removed and is quite natural; looking like your original teeth.
Partial and Complete Dentures
Partial and complete dentists are removable and replace several (partial) or all (Complete) missing teeth. Depending on where your missing teeth are, dentures can give your smile an aesthetic look. Partial dentures can also prevent your other teth from shifting and moving.
